Waiting on Wednesday #8

Hey all!  Where has this week gone by?  It's Wednesday already.  I don't know about you, but the GEICO commercial with the camel about hump day is spreading like mad around here.  It's starting to get a little old and people are taking it way beyond posting things on facebook.  In the office today, someone was dressed up like a camel.  Not kidding, a little shocking, what was even more shocking was watching our CEO chasing them around with his camera phone.  Anyways, Wednesday, right.  So you know what that means?  What book are we waiting on this Wednesday?  Good question.  I really wanted this week to feature S.A. Bolich's Seaborn (Masters of the Elements, #3), but I have no cover, no synopsis, and no official release date.  Can't really write anything about it without any of that information, so I think next on my list is Champion  (Legend, #3) by Marie Lu.  One thing that I love about Goodreads is the recommendation feature.  I think Legend has been on my list of recommendations for over a year now.  Once I realized that Champion is being released on November 5th, these books have moved right to the top of my TBR list.  I'm planning on reading Legend and Prodigy before the release of Champion.

Champion (Legend #3) by Marie Lu
Release Date: November 5, 2013

The explosive finale to Marie Lu’s New York Times bestselling LEGEND trilogy—perfect for fans of THE HUNGER GAMES and DIVERGENT!

He is a Legend.
She is a Prodigy.
Who will be Champion?

June and Day have sacrificed so much for the people of the Republic—and each other—and now their country is on the brink of a new existence. June is back in the good graces of the Republic, working within the government’s elite circles as Princeps Elect while Day has been assigned a high level military position. But neither could have predicted the circumstances that will reunite them once again. Just when a peace treaty is imminent, a plague outbreak causes panic in the Colonies, and war threatens the Republic’s border cities. This new strain of plague is deadlier than ever, and June is the only one who knows the key to her country’s defense. But saving the lives of thousands will mean asking the one she loves to give up everything he has. With heart-pounding action and suspense, Marie Lu’s bestselling trilogy draws to a stunning conclusion.

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?
